Drife (pronounced "drive") are an Indie/Alternative Rock band from the north of Luxembourg formed in 2018. They are heavily influenced by British rock music from the 80s, 90s and 00s bands like Ride, The Stone Roses, The Verve or Oasis, but also acts like The Cranberries, Neil Young and Bruce Springsteen have left their mark. In 2019, the band made their first DIY recordings and released the songs “All Here” and "Leave It All Behind" in late 2019 and early 2020 respectively. After the first Covid lockdown in 2020, the band went into the studio to record five new songs which feature on the debut EP released on 3rd September 2021 named after the title track "On My Mind".
New music was released in 2024, starting with „Parallel Universe“ in January, „Colours“ simultaneously with their performance at the „Relais Pour La Vie 2024“ in March and „On The Run“ in Octobre. In 2025 the band is returning to the stage to play their music live, including brand new tunes that are still fresh from the rehearsal room. There are more things kooking worth the wait as new music is being written and worked on. What's more to come?
